This is super helpful thank you for making this list Diow.
what does the 2nd / 4th / 6th rune mean?
Read these two threads:
I still dun understand bout recommended rune. For example Swift / Blade runes(using this 2 type of runes) then down description spd/ atk%/ atk% (what does this mean?) sorry kinda newbie for this game
It means that the recommended runes that you should use are swift and blade runes (4 swift and 2 blade runes for set bonuses). And for runes 2,4,6 you put runes with the corresponding main stat spd, atk%, atk% respectively.
Ok. I'll illustrate with pics (WARNING!! These pics are for illustrating only. Don't trust my silly rune set up)
In pic 1, rune 2 has an atk% main stat,
in pic 2 and 3, rune 4 and 6 have hp% as the main stat
Note: it doesn't matter what kind of rune you put in each slot (they could be jumbled. For example, i can put rune 2 as a blade rune with an atk% as the main stat.)
Note 2: Rune 2 has a special main stat which is spd
Rune 4 has a special main stat which is crit rate
Rune 6 has a special main stat which is effect accuracy
*special main stat means that you can only find that main stat in that corresponding rune
Note 3: Rune 1 has a fixed main stat which is atk
Rune 3 has a fixed main stat which is defense
Rune 5 has a fixed main stat which is hp
*fixed main stat means that it is the only main stat in that corresponding rune.
I hope i helped with my illustrations. Anyone can correct me if anything that i have said is wrong.
Other info and clarifications that you need about runes are in here: http://tcgapp.com/threads/runes-prefixes.67858/#post-227490
The charts posted at the top of this thread are "recommended rune setting". This is to help some new players to decide what good runes to put in their monsters. Of course you can experiment with different runes as you progress in the game. See what best benefits your monster.
Thanks for sharing such informative and useful guidelines. However i have somehow mange to get a 3* Awaken Colleen mob and apparently is not display in the ranking picture. Does that means that colleen is not good enough to be in the rankling or is just not updated with this mob?
Colleen is an awakened Fire Harpu which starts as a 2* so therefore would not be rated in the 3* table above. The above tables are monsters in their initial stage, not evolved or awaken (woken!?).
Colleen isn't a bad monster, but neither is she a good one. Heal skill is useful, and the Deadly Dart is great against some strong self healers. I'd use it in a team, but I'd hope to replace her with better.
Ah I see, cos when i got it was already in 3* so was thinking that its base star is at 3. Great Thanks for the reply.
can someone explain the runes for fire inugami ? fatal / energy & blade ? . fatal uses 4 runes to get bonus, energy use 2 blade uses 2 . if i put fatal runes which uses 4 , there're no room for energy and blade together.
It's just suggesting you use a combination of those runes.
Fatal + Energy
Fatal + Blade
Energy + Blade
The best way to use Inugami is as a fighting machine. Don't worry too much about the defense, just send him out to kill and maim! Therefore, Fatal + Blade make the best option. Pick runes with lots of ATK+, CRI Rate, CRI Dmg and Speed.
Can anyone explain how the grade from C to S is calculated?

Is there any updates information regarding new monsters such as bounty hunter, mystic witch, etc?
I've leveled a water bounty hunter to max 4 stars right now and his stats are quite average compared to other monsters of the same level. 315 atk 303 def and 94 spd. I feel like the value in him lies in his skills somehow but I am still not sure on the configuration.
